Need a little push to get those resolutions going? Last night, plenty of New Yorkers decided to kick that dead-end job and do something they truly love. As inspiration, we present 30 go-getters who managed to take a bite out of the Big Apple while still in their 20s. BLAIRE ALLISON, 29 METRO EVENT PLANNERS, unique events planning; metroplanners.com Blaire Allison was always coming up with crazy ideas for the popular TV dating show "Change of Heart," where she worked as a casting director. So, four years ago, she used her connections within the club and bar scene to set up her own events company, and began staging makeover and photography sessions, singles nights, eventually specializing in birthday and bachelorette parties incorporating raunchy elements like chocolate tasting and belly or pole dancing. "There is something very freeing about being able to exploit your own ideas," says Allison.
