Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do people come alone to your events?   Absolutely!  Our events strive to create a community.  These events are fun and creative.  They teach, empower, and inspire.  Our events are filled with love.

 

What is the age range of the people who attend your events?     Our attendees ages range from 20s to 50s.  Co-workers attend together, friends come with one another, sisters get a good laugh and we even have women who bring their moms along to a Naughty Girl or Dancing Goddess class as well!  All are welcome and we all have fun together!  (You must be at least 18 years of age to attend an event)

 

Is there a dress code at your events?    Our events are designed to make you feel comfortable and for things to flow naturally, that means presenting yourself in the attire you normally wear.  Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel great!

 

Where can I find the dates, times, locations of events?  We list the dates of our upcoming events on our home page.  If you would like further details about that event simply click on the event link.  All information regarding dates, times, locations, and purchasing tickets are on the bottom of each event page.

 

Where can I get more information about a class/event you are offering?  All information about our events are on each individual event page.

 

Do you offer group discounts?  Yes, we do!  When you purchase 5 tickets, the 6th ticket is free.  After the purchase of 5 tickets, email events@metroplanners.com the names and email addresses of all the attendees.  To confirm we need everyone's email address. 

 

Payments:  All ticket sales are securely processed by Authorize.net through this website or by mailed check.  All tickets are must be pre-paid.  We do not accept payment at the door.  If you are having trouble with our online payment system email your name and daytime number to events@metroplanners.com or call 917.438.7926.

If you'd like to mail a check....

Checks should be payable to Metro Event Planners.  PAYMENT ADDRESS is Blaire Allison, PO Box 425 : Bogota, NJ  07603.  Attention:  Events.  In the MEMO/NOTE section of your Check, list the Name & Date of the event you would like to attend.  All checks must be mailed 6-8 weeks before the date of the event you would like to attend.  Checks take 10 days to process and events are filled on a 1st sign-up basis.  If by the time your check is received and cleared the event is already SOLD OUT  your registration will automatically be applied to the next event scheduled or you will receive a credit to use on any of our events/products/services, no refunds will be given.  Once your check is mailed please email events@metroplanners.com with "mailed a check" in the SUBJECT HEADER to let us know to expect your check.  You will receive an email from us confirming your registration for class.  Enjoy!

 

Confirmation of event(s):  Once your order is processed, you will receive an email from our automated system within an hour or less confirming that your purchase has gone through.  Then, within 1-4 days you will receive an email from one of our love reps confirming the date, time, and location of the event you are signed up for.  If an event is cancelled you will be notified via email and phone.

 

Cancellations:  We reserve the right to cancel an event if conditions require us to do so. If this happens, you will be notified via email and phone.  If you cannot show up for a class, no refund will be issued; however, you may send someone to take your place at that event instead.  We reserve the right to cancel an event if conditions require us to do so. Occasionally, events are canceled or postponed by Metro Event Planners™ LLC, the instructor, or venue.  When events are cancelled we will attempt to notify you via email.  Attached to the email will be a transfer/refund request form.  If you would like a refund, you have 14 days from the event cancellation notification email to fill out and fax back the form.  If a faxed back form is not received by Metro Event Planners™ LLC within 14 days, your ticket will automatically be held on file as a transferred ticket.  You may transfer your ticket to another class of equal or lesser value for up to 6 months of the cancelled event date.  To request a transfer you must fill out and fax back the request form.  After 6 months all monies will be retained.   If your event is cancelled due to inclement weather, your ticket will automatically be applied to the rescheduled class date of the same event. You will be notified of the rescheduled class date via email.  If you are unable to attend this rescheduled event date, Metro Event Planners™ LLC must be notified via email within 3 days of the rescheduled class date email.  In this case, your ticket will automatically be held on file to be used towards another class of equal or lesser value for 60 days of the cancelled event date.  When you know what class you would like to attend, please email events@metroplanners.com with your full name and event information.  You will receive an email confirming your registration has been received.  If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call us at 1.888.89.EVENT to confirm your registration.  Events are booked based on availability and are first come first serve and it is suggested that you make your reservation at least 2 weeks in advance.  After 60 days and no transfer request email has been received all monies will be retained.  If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event and Metro Event Planners™ LLC is not notified via email within 3 days of the rescheduled class date email your ticket will still be applied to that rescheduled class date; no transfers will be given but you may send someone to take your place at that rescheduled event instead.  Metro Event Planners™ LLC will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed event.

This cancellation policy does NOT apply to our private class/parties for groups, that cancellation policy is posted on the webpage where you put the deposit down for your party.

Privacy     Your email address or other personal information will not be sold to anyone at anytime.  On occasion, we may take photos at our events. Your participation in any event provides consent for us to take photos or video which we may use for promotional business, including our website.
